Research Opportunities
In an effort to support undergraduate researchers from URM backgrounds, ReJUS will be working to identify and build research opportunities for undergraduates within the Center for Immunology at the University of Minnesota. Collaboration with other organizations at the University of Minnesota is central to accomplishing this goal. In particular, we work closely with the Empowering Women in Science (EWIS) group to develop mentoring resources for undergraduates in STEM and support ongoing programs, such as EWIS's Friend in STEM. Long-term goals for ReJUS include: developing a resource for undergraduates interested in immunology research that connects them with CFI faculty and building a funded, longitudinal program for undergrads from URM backgrounds.
